How do I know what applications are available to use and approved for use at Grinnell?
ITS maintains an Approved Software List that provides a rundown by category area of software approved for use at the College. ITS explains: “The purchase and use of software—whether free or at a cost to the college—is governed by a number of policies, the most prominent perhaps being the College procurement policy and the software budgeting and purchasing policy. Our software use must also be compliant with our legal obligations, including FERPA.” DLAC is available to help you navigate the best possible options for your assignment based on your plans, goals, and what is available for student use through the College.
